An Antique 18ct gold and platinum diamond and seed pearl cross.
 
This elegant cross is circa 1920, and measures 51 x 30 mm's.
 
The centre of the cross contain an old hand cut diamond. This is the largest diamond in the cross. Surrounding this, and set slightly below this are four more diamonds. Moving out from this central piece the gold and platinum has been worked in to ray's that move out from the centre diagonally. Each of these four sections contain two old hand cut diamonds.
 
The arms and head of the cross each contain four seed pearls, and three old hand cut diamonds which are set at the edges.
The base of the cross contains nine seed pearls, and three old hand cut diamonds which are set at its conclusion.
Attached to the top of the head of the cross is the gold and platinum bale which contains three old hand cut diamonds.
 
Each of the 17 seed pearls measures 2 x 2 mm's.
The 28 diamonds have an estimated total combined weight of 0.50 carats.
